We convey our commitment to sustainability by implementing company-wide initiatives and behaviors, which stem from our desire to make a difference and promote change positive for everybody.
In doing this, we everyday improve our work environment to encourages awareness and the shared adoption of sustainable choices by all of us at TeamPeaks.
Our environmental initiatives
We promote practices that encourage the responsible use of resources to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to the protection of our planet.
In particular, we commit by:
Using a shared kitchen, which is equipped with reusable plastic-free crockery and cutlery to reduce the consumption of disposable materials.
Making a common monthly grocery shopping, to reduce food waste.

Encouraging community meals and coffee/tea breaks to reduce waste and energy consumption.
Foregoing the usage of coffee pods.
Employing a low-consumption dishwasher, which is used in a single wash cycle at night.
Virtually eliminating the use of printed paper through the digitization of processes and documentation.
Reducing production of hazardous waste to zero.
Adopting waste recycling practices.
Improving the energy efficiency through the adoption of low-consumption technologies and optimized management actions, such as:
- the elimination of the natural gas heating system in favor of heat pumps
- the improvement of thermal insulation
- the optimization of the heating, ventilation and conditioning systems
Preferring the acquisition of second-hand equipment, furniture and stationery to reduce resource consumption.

We plan company events and teambuilding initiatives in locations surrounded by greenery, to promote an inclusive working environment based on mutual understanding and respect for differences.
We promote diversity and inclusion through training and awareness programs.
We promote flexible working hours through part-time contracts, hybrid work and smart working measures, with the goal to reduce unnecessary travel, help those engaged in family assistance activities, and respect religious rites.
We pay weekly visits to “Il Barco”, a refreshment point run by people involved in social reintegration projects. In this place you can also buy organic products and reconditioned objects, as well as take part in cultural events with the aim of contributing to the creation of a more inclusive and sustainable society.
We support the “AlberoRosso” foundation by sustaining the Dolpo Bon school in Nepal.
This project is very dear to us, as it aims to provide access to skill development opportunities where needed and deserved, it uses more and more technology to provide education and training, and… it is right in the middle of the world’s highest Peaks!
Diversity is one of the pillars on which we build our success, and it always will be.
Our goals for sustainable mobility
We are actively working to reduce the environmental impact of corporate mobility, both for what concerns the daily journey to work and corporate travel.
We promote the use of bicycles as a means of sustainable transportation through the activation of a liability insurance covering all employees. We are also members of the CIAB (Club delle Imprese Amiche della Bicicletta), an association that brings together companies, local authorities, professionals and other economic actors committed to promoting sustainable mobility through the use of bicycles.

Having stopped buying fuel-powered company cars, in favor of more environmentally friendly alternatives (bicycles and electric bikes, electric cars).
Limiting the use of cars for business trips, preferring instead public transportation and car-pooling.

Offering free access to the company WallBox for electric cars and bikes recharge, directly connected with our photovoltaic generator.
