Enhance the Look of Talent Development Platforms
When it comes to SAP SuccessFactors and its user interface customization capabilities, our clients often lower their expectations, show a certain resignation, and make comparisons with other systems that are easier to customize.
Even though SAP SuccessFactors is a very agile platform adaptable to various technical needs, it is undeniable that it has lagged a bit in terms of User Experience (UX). With the November 2023 release (2H 2023), SAP has improved the UX of its Learning module by refreshing the graphical appearance of the tiles (now called cards) and defining a new, more user-oriented navigation experience: the New Learning Experience (ILX).
ILX has been a positive change, which all welcomed, but we know that the update did not cover all areas of the platform and that coordinating and defining the graphical images still requires a deep knowledge of the system and an overall perspective capable of combining procedures and branding aspects.
Our approach
We are aware that:
- The user must be placed at the center and considered the key factor in determining the success and effectiveness of a corporate training project.
- Today, companies use employee training to convey their corporate messages, internal management policies, and employee protection measures.
- All the above points contribute to forming and consolidating a company’s reputation, credibility, and therefore its solidity.
Driven by positive experiences, over the years, we have refined our technical skills by recognizing and defining all possible touchpoints on the platform.
This allows us to provide our clients with:
- A better User Experience (UX) connected and coordinated with corporate initiatives.
- Consistently applying the same language to all user-facing templates such as notification, dashboards, reports, certificates, classroom materials, tests, etc.
We work with branding guidelines
We are often provided with the Brand Guidelines and are recommended to use them as rigorously and consistently as possible. We understand well how adhering to these standards contributes to the credibility of corporate initiatives (including internal ones) and how often an expert eye is needed to ensure this activity is carried out consistently and professionally.
That’s why one of our internal teams is dedicated specifically to this!
And when branding guidelines are not available?
What happens when the guidelines have not been developed for a specific purpose or are very generic and loosely connected?
Our internal graphic team steps in, creating tailored solutions, defining color schemes consistent with the general coordination guidelines to make the new solutions appear harmonious and consistent with the corporate identity.
